Mahjong Faces — connect without a timer
Mahjong Faces is a playful version of Mahjong Connect where the tiles show drawn faces instead of Chinese characters: with pigtails and glasses, with a beard, a cap or a crown. Find two identical faces and join them with a line that has no more than two turns — the pair leaves the board.
Nothing rushes you here: there is no time limit, the timer only shows how long the level takes. Each of the ten levels gives you six hints, and you can shuffle the board as often as you like. From level to level the tiles behave differently — they fall, slide sideways or gather to the centre.
Tips
- Remember faces by their background and hairstyle — it makes identical tiles easier to spot.
- Connect pairs at the edge first to make room for longer lines.
- The faster you finish a level, the more bonus points you get.

FAQ
How do I connect tiles?
Click two identical tiles. They are removed if a line with no more than two right-angle turns can join them without crossing other tiles. The line may run around the edge of the board.
Is there a time limit?
No. Mahjong Faces has no time limit: the timer only shows how long the level takes. Every level gives you six hints.
What if there are no moves?
The tiles reshuffle automatically. You can also press Shuffle yourself if you can't find a pair.
How do the levels differ?
On every level the tiles move differently after a pair is removed: they fall down, gather to the centre, slide left or right. This changes the tactics: a pair that was close together may drift apart.
